And yes, boys and girls, it is a petite version of the latest in the Primitives series.
Woodburytype. You find them in old books. They are kind of glowing when you see them in person.
The old Cliffhouse in San Francisco. Creepy. The Cliffhouse of today is not as atrocious, if you can ignore the tourists. They are actually very nice people, just a long ways from home. The locals in San Francisco are a long ways from home too for the most part and a very friendly bunch as well. The ruins of the old public baths on the other side of the Cliffhouse are creepy with a capital K and huge.
J.S. remix ala c7.
Lassen Peak.

the other hiking Saturday. Tryin ta bring out those damn CAP holding ponds. Just ain't working. They were floating out there. Reflecting the light very strongly. The whole valley was in crystal clear resolution- the dark area in the lowlands and the warm remains of the refracted sunlight. I have not given up. I will make a goddman Frankenstein cutout image of my dozen or so pics of this event before I give up.
Here is a short movie of me trying to get the camera angle tight.
Also, here is a a short movie of the cats I was with at the top of the 4500 foot hill that day.

My new work space. Yep. Long time at the chicken-factory before ya get a desk like this. According to company records I had to process nearly 650,000 chickens before earning a new job and a desk like this. Just kidding. In all seriousness, I've nabbed new job at a place where the idea is to serve people trying to get an education and/or seek information/enlightenment. I've been there a while but as a goddamned temp for 2 1/2 years. On the right hand side of the image is a missing area where this huge work table is. Plenty of leg room. I'll post an image after I get settled which portrays the amount of artwork that will go up on my cubicle walls. Right now the image you can see in the top/center are of the image is a birdseye view of London ca. 1840, which came w/ the desk. Go Academia!!
This image seems to take on more shape when viewed from the angle I drew it from. Same as my handwriting.
